He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Young and Olive Young (Reierson); his son Steven Kiehne; and his brother Jim Young. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Hall; his sons, Scott Kiehne of Rockford and Randy Kiehne (Margaret) of Hammond, Wisconsin; his granddaughter Alyssa Kiehne of Rush City, Minnesota; his stepsons, Jeff Wells (Lisa) of Columbia, Jay Wells (Laurie) of Iowa City, Jim Wells (Marlys) of Boone and John Wells of Rockford; his siblings, Joanne Nuehring (Roger) of Hampton and Richard Young (Kay) of Cedar Rapids; and his close friends, Jerry and Karen Schlader. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
