He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Fox and Iola Fox (Schademan); his stepfather Merlyn Gaffey; his siblings-in-law, Keith Plummer and Gwen Fox (Evalena Fox); his uncles, Olnes, Marvin and Lester Schademan; and his nephew Dan Fox (Jason Cemper).

He is survived by: his wife Robin Ann Liska of Rockford; his sons, Matt Fox (Sydney) of Mason City and Brian Fox (Hannah) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Finley, Aiden, Milo Fox and Vera Grant; and his sister Linda Plummer of Lincoln.
