It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred Eileen Van Veldhuizen of Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Sloten and Gertrude Van Sloten (Pollema); her husband Edwin Loren Van Veldhuizen; her brothers, John Van Sloten and Gary Van Sloten; her brothers-in-law, Gerrit Van Maanen and Leroy Bolkema; and her friends, John Van Veldhuizen and John Attema.
She is survived by: her children, Lorna Kraayenbrink (Brad) of Sheldon, Sandi Wallenburg of Sioux Falls, Mary Wiersma (Bruce) of Orange City and Larry Van Veldhuizen (Paige) of Doon, Iowa; her grandchildren, Joshua Kraayenbrink (Jessica), Matthew Kraayenbrink, Melissa Van Den (Greg), Dustin Wallenburg (Roxy), Krista Wallenburg (Jared Cramer), Angela Aesoph (Dan), Travis Wiersma, Morgan Erickson, Brooke Klaassen (Colby) and Eric Van Veldhuizen; her great grandchildren, Kyla, Nolan, Ben, Sawyer, Addie, Norah, Cameron, Quinn, Ava, Levi, Brantlee, Brogan, Benson and Hadley; her brother Norm Van Sloten (Bettie) of Boyden, Iowa; her sisters-in-law, Coreen Van Sloten of Rock Valley and Barb Van Sloten of Spirit Lake, Iowa; her parents-in-law, Joan Van Maanen, Elaine Bolkema, Ron Van Veldhuizen (Gert) of Rock Valley and Claretta Lobbes (John) of Orange City, Iowa; her friends, Janice Attema, Garlene Van Veldhuizen, Wilmina and Andy Oostra; and her cousin Wynn Feenstra. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
