She was predeceased by: her parents, George Burgers and Wilma Burgers (Zeilstra); her father-in-law James Koedam; her husband Jim; her daughter Wanda Jean; her grandson Jamie; and her great grandchild Jesse Doorenbos.

She is survived by: her children, James M. Koedam (Nina), Gary Koedam (Lorna) of Doon, Marsha Kelderman (Dennis) of Hull and Rhonda Postma (Glenn) of Doon; her sister Grace Boeve of Luverne, Minnesota; and her siblings-in-law, Marge Burgers of Inwood, Nina Koedam of Rock Valley and Bill (Everdena Koedam) of Rock Rapids, Iowa.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
