It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Engbers of Rock Valley, Iowa, born in New Holland, South Dakota, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie DenBesten (Keuning) and Ed DenBesten; and her husband John Engbers. She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Van Voorst (Dennis) of Overland Park, Kansas, Wesley Engbers (Glenda) of Sioux Falls and Kevin Engbers (Linda) of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty- two great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
