She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest and Anna (Vander); her father-in-law Alfred Schepel; and her brothers-in-law, Henry Klarenbeek, Art Zylstra and James Hoogeveen.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Schepel of Sioux Falls; her children, Angila Nowka of Sioux Falls, Brent Schepel (Stacy) of Luverne and Steven Schepel (Samantha); her grandchildren, Michael, McKenzie Nowka, Madison, Cameryn Schepel, Hailieanne and Alyxandra Schepel; her siblings, Erlene Johnson (Gordon) of Sioux City, Mary Ann Zylstra of Edgerton, Delores Zonnefeld (Garry) of Sioux Center, Lois Hoogeveen of Sioux Falls and Charles Van Driessen (Nola) of Sioux Center; her mother-in-law Donna Schepel of Hull, Iowa; her sister-in-law Glenda Robbins (Kevin) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Carson and Kennedy Headrick. She is also survived by cats and dog, piano lessons, helping her mom.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to be given to Luverne Christian School Society or McCrossan Boys Ranch.
