He is survived by: his wife Hilary Wiersma; his stepdaughter Amanda Wiersma; his children, Rachael Van Hill and Stephen Van Hill; his mother Joan Van Hill of Pasco, Washington; his sister Judy Larson (Jim); his niece Olivia of Pasco, Washington; and his mother-in-law Helinda Wiersma of Hull, Iowa..
