He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Cleveringa and Esther Cleveringa (Vanden Bosch); his parents-in-law, Louis and Katherine Kuiper; and his sisters, Cella Bosma and Marcia Rozeboom.
He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Kuiper; his children, Chris Cleveringa (Laura) of Doon, Alanda Koenen (Chad) of Rock Valley, Ryan Cleveringa (Jennifer) of Lincoln, Darin Cleveringa (Jenifer) of Lawton and Ross Cleveringa (Camy) of Rock Valley; and his siblings-in-law, Sandi Altena (Dan) of Sioux Center, Jerry Bosma of Sanborn, Leroy Rozeboom of Inwood and Kevin Kuiper (Garneth) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
