With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nella Bleyenberg of Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Groeneweg and Katherine Groeneweg (De Kam); and her brother Bert Groeneweg. She is survived by: her husband Dick Bleyenberg; her daughters, Michelle Swensen (Brett) of Eden Prairie, Charlotte Kooima (Randy Kooima) and Dr. Julie Bleyenberg (Matt Klein) of Dover; her grandchildren, Victoria Kronlokken (Matt), Andrew Swensen, Calista Swensen, Alexis Kooima and Taryn Kooima; her siblings, John Groeneweg (Barb) of Rock Valley and Lydia Vander Stouwe (Ken) of Perkins, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Marcia Groeneweg of Sioux Falls.
Memorials will be given to Whispering Heights Nursing Home.
