She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vis and Hattie Vis (Vermeer); her former husband Harold; her daughter LaVonne Bakker; her grandsons, Kristopher Richter and Dustin Bakker; and her siblings, Pete Vis, Ed Vis, Walt Vis, Gerrit Vis, Elizabeth Zevenbergen, Henrietta Cammenga, Nell Vis, Gertrude Franken and Kathryn Van Kley.
She is survived by: her husband Jake Teunissen; her children, Bill Van Otterloo (Nancy), Steve Van Otterloo (Wanda), Janice Van (Loy), Hul, Joyce Richter (Steve) and Jay Teunissen (Anita); her son-in-law Mark Bakker; her siblings, John Vis and Cornelia Vander Molen; and her sisters-in-law, Gert Vis (Ed) and Edith Vis (Walt). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
