It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Calsbeek (Rock Valley, Iowa), who passed away on June 2, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Jr. Moerman and Catherine Moerman (Feekes); her husband Russell Calsbeek; her daughter-in-law Lori Calsbeek; and her sisters-in-law, Sheryl Moerman and Mari Gier (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Sherwyn Calsbeek of Larchwood, Dawn Van Beek (Paul) of Doon and Patricia Penning (Terry) of Rock Valley, Iowa; her grandchildren, Carisa (Brent), Ryan (Kyla), Kalee, Megan (Kyle), Kevin (Rachel), Brady (Mariah), Mackenzie and Carter; her siblings, Roger Moerman of Kennewick, Washington, Wilma Kooima (Doug) of Rock Valley, Mary Heeringa (Tom) of Tucson and Debra Towne (John) of Benson, Arizona; and her brother-in-law Frank Calsbeek (Ula) of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren.
