It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John A. Fluit Sr. of Rock Valley, Iowa, born in Rock Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Fluit and Anna Fluit (Wolf); his wife Evelyn Hoogendoorn; his children, Harold Fluit (Betty), Craig Fluit (Tammy), Judy Van Tilburg (Gerald), John Fluit (Anita), Sherry Van Ravenswaay (Norman), Shirley Koenen (Greg) and Daryl Fluit (Brenda); his siblings, Clarence Fluit (Joyce), Anna Marie Kaster and Joyce Hetrick (Greg); and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Fluit, Gilbert Hoogendoorn (Angeline), Gert Kelderman and Pete Hoogendoorn (Connie). He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Netherlands Reformed Christian School.
