Jennie Den Besten Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jennie Den Besten (Rock Valley, Iowa), who passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Blom and Nancy Blom (DeVries); her sisters, Elizabeth Groenewold (Clarence) and Grace Klein (Charles); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Blom.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Den Besten (Bill); her daughters, Nancy Zeutenhorst (Darlo) of Orange City, LaVonne Warntjes (Daryl) of Hull and Patricia Hilt (Steven) of Sioux Center; her brothers, Walter Blom of Rock Valley and Raymond Blom (Susan) of San Antonio, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Bernard Kamminga of Kentwood, Michigan and Henrietta Den Besten of Sioux Center. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Jennie's family prefers memorials be directed to Northwest Iowa Protestant Reformed School in Doon.
