She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Keegan and Elvira Keegan (Schemmer); her husband Robert Richter; her daughter-in-law Joyce Richter; her grandchild Kris Richter; and her siblings, Robert Keegan, Mary Ellen Keegan and Helen Huffington.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Richter (Tina) of Davenport, Iowa, Steve Richter of Rock Valley, Margaret Chavez (Antonio) of Fort Worth, Texas, Mary Reap (John) of Flower Mound, Texas, Greg Richter (Teri) of Rock Valley and Tim Richter (Diane) of Bentonville, Arkansas.; and her siblings, Doris Kersbergen, James Keegan and Michael Keegan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Rock Valley (1704 15th St, Rock Valley, IA 51247). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Rock Valley (1821 14th St, Rock Valley, IA 51247).
For those wishing to make a contribution, the family suggests memorials be directed to St. Mary's in Rock Valley or the Catholic Daughters of America in Jane's memory.
