With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jake Teunissen of Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jake Teunissen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Teunissen and Wilhelmina Teunissen (Wittebrood); his wives, Florence Terpstra and Margaret Van Otterloo (Vis); his daughter LaVonne Bakker; his grandsons, Kristopher Richter and Dustin Bakker; and his siblings, Reynolla DeGraaff, Corney and Gilbert Teunissen.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Van (Loy B.), Hul, Joyce Richter (Steve) and Jay Teunissen (Anita); his stepsons, Bill Van Otterloo (Nancy) and Steve Van Otterloo (Wanda); his son-in-law Mark Bakker; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Terpstra, John Vis, Agnus Harmelink, Grace Teunissen, Betty Teunissen and Cornelia Vander Molen. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Rock Valley Christian School.
