He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Holland and Margaret Van Holland (Van Galen); his wife Donnadell Bleeker; and his mother-in-law Dora Bleeker (Vander Weide). He is survived by: his children, Tony Van Holland of Rock Valley, Gwen (Mark) and Hollander of Rock Valley; his grandchildren, Katelynn Butyn (Corwin), Lucas, Logan and Hollander; his son Todd Van Holland (Aimee) of Sioux Center; his grandchildren, Cody, Lane and Mya Van Holland; his child Lord; his sisters, Jacoba Nagel, Henrietta Mantel (Glen) and Alberta Van Holland; and his brother-in-law Karlin Bleeker (Carolyn).
To make a lasting tribute in Herman's name, memorials may be given to Fellowship Village of Inwood, Iowa or to a family facing a medical crisis.
