He was predeceased by: his parents, John Otterloo and Dora Van Otterloo; his siblings, Rich Van Otterloo (Lyda), Grace, Melvin Van Otterloo and Harold Van Otterloo; and his brother-in-law Gerrit Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Kay Landegent; his children, Diane Boyd, Carol Vande Stouwe (Randy), Jon Randall Van Otterloo, Connie Verhoeven (Tom) and Mark Van Otterloo (Nancy); and his sisters-in-law, Lucy Van Otterloo and Sharon Van Otterloo. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and his siblings.
