He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Baartman and Mathilda Baartman (Klomp); his wife Marcie; his daughter Jennifer Baartman; his grandchildren, Sienna and Haylie of Leota; his children, Jason Baartman (Lindsay Bleile) of Sioux Falls, Nathan Baartman, Bentlee, Olivier, Willamena of Adel and Brian Baartman (Amanda); his grandchildren, Judah and Bennett of Adel; his brothers, Jeff Baartman (Rene) of Sioux Falls and Bruce Baartman (Vicki) of Fort Myers, Florida; his sister-in-law Phyllis Stratton (Dick) of Hartford; his brother Don Baartman; his grandson Josiah Levi Baartman; and also, Egbert, Willie Kroll, Gary Kroll and Robert Kroll.
