He is survived by: his wife Fonda Van Zanten; his sons, Barry Van Beek of Sioux Falls, Chris Van Beek (Rachel) and Eric Van Beek (Katie) of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Jim Van Beek of Rock Valley and Clara Ann Bleyenberg (Dick) of Rock Valley; his mother-in-law Mary Van Zanten of Rock Valley; and his sister-in-law Joyce Van Beek of Rock Valley. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
