He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vlastuin and Elizabeth Vlastuin (Van Grootheest); his son Marvin Vlastuin; his great grandchild Timothy Vlastuin; his siblings, Henrietta DeBruin (Albert), Gerrit Vlastuin and Henry Vlastuin; and his sister-in-law Cornelia Vlastuin.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Vander Boon; his children, John Vlastuin (Helen) of Rock Valley, Eleanor Vande Stouwe (Greg) of Lansing, KS, Don Vlastuin (Paulita) of Farmington, AR, Doug Vlastuin (Sheila) of Rogers, AR, Tom Vlastuin (Shelly) of Garfield, AR, Dave Vlastuin (Danielle) of River Falls, WI and Bev Plantenberg (Kevin) of Dakota Dunes, SD; his siblings, Tillie Blom, Elmer Vlastuin and Nettie Van Surksum (John); and his sisters-in-law, Emma Vlastuin and Ramona Vlastuin. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials for the Mission Fund at Grace Community Church or Whispering Heights of Rock Valley.
