She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie and Bertha; her husband Elmer; her grandson Michael Kooima of Arlan; her sister Mary Huyser; her brother-in-law Cornie Huyser; and also, Joe Gaalswyk, Marge Gaalswyk, Tom Gaalswyk, Freida Gaalswyk, Alvin Gaalswyk and Janet Gaalswyk.
She is survived by: her children, Joel (Faye) of Rock Valley, Bertha (Gerald Van Den) and Kathy (Henry Vande Vegte) of Rock Valley. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
