It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Van Ginkel of Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ginkel and Mary Van Ginkel (Koedam); his wife Alice Van Den Top; and his brothers-in-law, Mease Van Beek and Henry Bakker.
He is survived by: his children, Marlowe Van Ginkel (Pamela) of Rock Valley, Marshonn Boon (Warren) of Rock Valley, Warren Van Ginkel (Cheryl) of Doon and Joel Van Ginkel (Natalie) of Hull, Iowa; and his siblings, Wilma Van Beek of Rock Valley, Leola Bakker of Hull and Gerald Van Ginkel (Marcia) of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Northwest Iowa Protestant Reformed School or Trinity Christian High School.
