She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Westra and Henrietta Westra (Warntjes); her son Jeff Dykstra; her husband John Dykstra; and her sister Muriel Gritters.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Westra (Laura) of Rock Valley, Roger Westra (Jackie) of Henderson, Randy Westra (Wai) of Reno, Nevada and Darla Wanningen of Oceanside, California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
