He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Dirksen and Tena Dirksen (Vander Plaats); his parents-in-law, John and Jeanette Van Maanen; his stepmother Lois Mitchell; his brothers, Jerry Dirksen and Ronald Dirksen; and his sister-in-law Marlys.
He is survived by: his wife Jo (Jo); his son Gayle Dirksen (Fritz, family: Haeley, Jordan Faber); his grandchildren, Avery, Levi, Beau, Jess and Amber Dirksen; his great grandchild Braelynn; his daughter Mindi (Mitch Miller, family: Trent, Katie Miller); his grandchildren, Emilia, Samuel, Kennedy Yun, Layne and Mollie; his great grandchild Luka; his grandchild Londa Dirksen (Wassink, family: Brayden, Kalen, Kira); his daughter Tanya (family: Tia, Rian, Dante, Gabriel); his son-in-law Jeremy Hildebrandt; his daughter Jodi (family: Madison, Gustav Espersen, Jackson); his son-in-law Cory Riemersma; his siblings, Larry Dirksen (Gloria), Don Dirksen (Gail), Carol Liston (Jerry), Teri Wagner (Brad) and Gretchen Van't Hof (Randy); his sister-in-law Donna Tilstra (Glen); and also Kirk.
