He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul and Lois Collenbaugh (Moore); and also, Joseph and Veronica Scholten. He is survived by: his wife Monica Scholten; his daughter Ashley Vis (Micah); his grandchildren, Karter John Mason of Rock Valley, Malachi Isaiah of Rock Valley and Emery Danielle Simone of Rock Valley; and his sisters, Mary Halsey (Ron Malsam), Lisa Hanson (Bob) of Sergeant Bluff and Cathy Collenbaugh. He is also survived by siblings; many nephews and nieces.
