She was predeceased by: her parents, Jella Fluit and Jennie Fluit (De Bondt); her husband Everett Van Ginkel; her son Evan "Chic" Van Ginkel; her grandsons, Luke Kelderman and Nicholas Van Ginkel; her parents-in-law, Henry "Hank" and Anna Van Ginkel; her brothers, John Fluit, Tunis Fluit and James Fluit; and her siblings-in-law, William Smith, Richard Vanden Brink, Gerrit Hup, Nellie Fluit, Lavina Vanden Brink and Marlene Wynia.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Van Ginkel (Avonne), Joyce Sipma (David), Charlene Sonne (Gregory), Myron Van Ginkel (Joni), David Van Ginkel (LaRee), Eugene Van Ginkel (Diane), Melinda Kelderman (Mark) and Paul Van Ginkel (Andrea); her daughter-in-law Debra Van Ginkel; her siblings, Jerald Fluit (Trudy), Bernard Fluit, Janet Rowe (Dennis) and Mary Lawson (Otto); and her siblings-in-law, Harold Van Ginkel (Glenda), Gertrude Smith and Bernice Hup. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Netherlands Reformed Christian School.
