It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine (De Zeeuw) Van Maanen of Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Jansen and Cornelia Jansen (Kate Van Donkelaar); her former husband Stanley De Zeeuw; her husband Ed Van Maanen; her siblings, Johanna Int Veld and Gerrit Jansen; her son David De Zeeuw; and her stepsons-in-law, Marvin Post and Rick Koldenhoven.

She is survived by: her children, Lyle (Helen De Zeeuw), Dianne (Arlo Van Kley), Sandi Koldenhoven and Sylvia (Ron Kiel); and her stepchildren, Everret, Hedy Van Maanen, Joan Post, Mary Ann, Earl De Bey, Linda, Bruce Kooima, Marvin, Melinda Van Maanen, Randy, Sue Van Maanen and Brad Van Maanen. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
