She was predeceased by: her parents, Ring Wallenburg and Winnie Wallenburg (Harskamp); her former husbands, Gerrit Van Dieren, William Vugteveen and Richard Rikkers; her husband Robert Kersbergen; and her grandchildren, Greg Van Grootheest and Amy Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Van Grootheest (Gerrit) of Rock Valley, Kenneth Van Dieren (Deborah) of Rochester and Beverly Van Bochove (Glenn) of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
