She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Sybesma and Carolina Sybesma (Faber); her siblings, Clarence, Marion, Stanley, Bertha Flietstra, Clara Flietstra, Millie Weeber and Darlene Van Den Berg; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Flietstra, Merle Huisjen, Pete Lubben, Marlowe De Lange, Harold Jaeger, Clara Sybesma, Elmira De Lange and Bernice Jaeger.
She is survived by: her husband John Vanden Bos; her children, James Vanden Bos (Rachelle) of Rock Valley and Carol Johnson (Doug) of Lucas; her grandchildren, Ashley Van Otterloo (Colton), Carter, Levi Vanden Bos and Malorie Johnson; her siblings, Sam Sybesma (Henrietta), Gertrude Baker (Bernard), Jean Huisjen and Anna Lubben; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Wiebenga (Bud), Nelvina Sybesma and Dave Van Den (Anne).
Memorials may be given to The Gideons International, Western Christian High School, or Dakota Christian School.
