With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carman Schemmer of Rock Valley, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Schemmer and Inez H. Schemmer (Maaske) of Logan, IA.. He is survived by: his wife Ginger A. Schemmer (Smith); his daughters, Rene Hiller (Rich) of Logan, Danielle Atkinson (Tom) of Parker, Sharon Whitacre (Keith) of Hudson and Susan Frazier (Brad) of Springdale, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Megan, Nic, Macie Hiller, Max, Halle Holmes, Chace Atkinson, Michael, Heather Whitacre, Brock, Maddie and Kacie Frazier. He is also survived by his daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren.
The family would request that in lieu of flowers, contributions could be sent in his name to any of these organizations.
