Betty Rozeboom Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rozeboom of Rock Valley, Iowa, born in Corsica, South Dakota, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Zomer, and Helena Zomer, Sr.; her husband Dick G. Rozeboom; her son Anthony "Tony" Rozeboom; her grandson Michael Kooima; and her siblings, Hermina Rozeboom, Nellie Rozeboom, Herman Zomer Jr., Cornie Zomer and Clarence Zomer.
She is survived by: her children, Gerrit Rozeboom (Evonne) of St. Joe, Cora Kooima (Arlan) of Canton, Rick Rozeboom (Karla) of Fairview and Daryl Rozeboom (Kath) of Sioux Falls; her daughter-in-law Arlys Rozeboom of Doon, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Jeane Zomer, Joane Zomer and Marlene Zomer. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Netherlands Reformed Christian School.
