He was predeceased by: his parents, Lane Gerritson and Margaret Gerritson (Kastine); and his brother Leonard Gerritson. He is survived by: his wife Wilma De Jager (Billie); his children, Bryan Gerritson (Bev) of Orange City and Brenda Beumer (Michael) of Urbandale, Iowa; his grandchildren, Becky Sanders (Justin), Nick Gerritson (Amber), Sebastian Beumer (Amy) and Emily Beumer (Matt McHugh); his great grandchildren, Bryan Sanders, Nathan Sanders, Noah Sanders, Emma Harper, Christopher Harper, Grace Harper, Keith Gerritson, Alexa Gerritson, Braylen Beumer and Claire Beumer; and his siblings, Ben Gerritson (Sandy) of Sioux City, Betty Kraayenbrink of St. Paul, MN and Helen Reinke (Doug) of Sioux City, Iowa.. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing are required and limited to 15 visitors at time.
In lieu of flower and gifts the family requests that memorials be directed to the Rock Valley Food Bank.
