He is survived by: his wife Florence Winters; his children, Ronald Van Beek (Michele) of Orange City, IA, Lavonne Spaans (Herbert) of Larchwood, IA, Audrey Zomer (James) of Orange City, IA, Glenda Van Roekel (Dennis) of Sioux Center, IA, Kevin Van Beek (Tina) of Hudson, SD, Lisa Maassen (David) of Hudson, SD and Sheila LeLoux (Jay) of Hudson, SD; his siblings, Gary (JoAnn) of Rock Valley, IA, Marvin (Jeanette) of Rock Valley, IA, Howard (Dee) of Lynden, WA, Gertrude Rozeboom of Rock Valley, IA, Loraine Hoogendoorn (Gilbert) of Rock Valley, IA, Geneva Klarenbeek of Rock Valley, IA, Reva Koedam (Sam) of Canton, SD and Viola Bonnema (Wes) of Mason City, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Teunissen (Gloria) of Rock Valley, IA, Lloyd Winters (Norma) of Hull, IA, Arlene Van Beek of Dalhart, TX, Diane De Haan (Roger) of Orange City, IA and Loraine Neimeyer (Harold) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials for the Netherlands Reformed Christian School of Rock Valley.
