She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hey and Hattie Ver Hey (Bleyenberg); her husband Henry Miersma; her son-in-law Rev. Dale Kuiper; her siblings, Arie, Art Ver Hery, Dena Schnyders (Dan) and Adrianna Hofstee (Everett); and her siblings-in-law, Paul Miersma (Jennie), Tunis Miersma (Alda), Harry Miersma (Dorothy), Berdahl Miersma, Jake Jabaay, Henrietta Rubingh (John) and Winifred Miersma.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Rodney Miersma (Sharon) of Hull, Velerie Kuiper of Jenison and DaVonna Holstege (Gary) of Hudsonville; her grandchildren, Wil, Alvern Miersma (Fran) of Redlands, Daris Van Bemmel (Gene) of Rock Valley and Carlyle Miersma (Marcia) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her sister Jeanne Jabaay of Redlands; and her sisters-in-law, Elsie Ver Hey of Edgerton and Dorothy Miersma of Merced, California.. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Christian High School Music Department.
