He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Albert, Nancy Van Beek, Gerrit and Antonia Rozeboom; and his parents-in-law, Bert, Gertrude Rus, Richard Richters, Lucille Dorhout (Richters) and Dick Dorhout.
He is survived by: his parents, John Beek and Gertrude Van Beek (Rozeboom) of Rock Valley; his wife Mavis Richters; his children, Nicole Landegent (Troy) of Rock Valley, Christy Polk (Jeffrey) of Springfield, Ashley Van Beek (Cameron) of Yankton and Brandon Van Beek of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Tillie, Mya, Tessa, Zoey, Jack Landegent, Barrett, Brinley, Berlin Polk, Vera, Evie, Hugh, Vonn and Indi Van Beek; and his siblings, Alma De Wit (Gus) of Rock Rapids, Joann Hoekstra (Leland) of Hull, Terry Van Beek of Rock Valley, Jason Van Beek (Julie) of Crawford and Tricia Van Beek (Nate) of Doon, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Anden's family would like any memorials to be directed to The Van Beek Family Foundation, in care of American State Bank Trust Department 525 N Main Avenue, Sioux Center, Iowa 51250.
