She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kats and Christina Kats (Vander Plas); her husband Walt; her children, Dennis Groeneweg and Gail Blankespoor; her grandson Brock Kleinwolterink; and her siblings, Joan Groeneweg, John Kats, Paul Kats, Harley Kats, Ed Kats and Larry Kats.
She is survived by: her son Leon Robert "Bob" Groeneweg (Cherie) of Rock Valley; her grandchildren, Morgen, Kelcie and Erin; her great grandchildren, Cody and Carter; her daughter-in-law Joan Groeneweg of Rock Valley; her grandchildren-in-law, Rose, Miranda and Nathan; her siblings, Gerrit Kats, Kenneth Kats, Alvin Kats, Betty Hoogendoorn and Wanda Siebelink; and also, Henry Blankespoor of Doon, Dexter, Brett and Levi. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
