He was predeceased by: his mother Sonja Ruth Van Bemmel (Andres); his wife Gloria Van Bemmel; his parents-in-law, Herman and Clazina Spaans; and his granddaughter Brynn Ruth Key.
He is survived by: his father Leonard Van Bemmel; his daughter Janell Maas (Phil); his grandchildren, Whitney, TJ and Sable of Hudsonville; his son Trent Van Bemmel (Michelle); his grandchildren, Annica, Skyler, Janessa, Derick and Trevor of Rock Valley; his child Kelsey Van Bemmel (Ashley); his grandchildren, Kara, Connor, Dean and Oliver of Loveland; his child Lacey Key (Tim); his grandchildren, Alaina, Liam, Jade and Embry of Jenison, Michigan; and his siblings, Rainer Van Bemmel (Diane), Patsy Vander Schaaf (Denny), Glenn Van Bemmel (Deb), Kathleen Harmelink (Harlan) and Mike Van Bemmel (Lori).
Masks are mandatory at the visitation and strongly recommended for the funeral service.
Memorials may be given to the Protestant Reformed School of your choosing.
