It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Van Zee-Damkot of Rock Valley, Iowa, born in Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, August Katje and Alice Katje (Kragt); her former husband Alvin "Kooze" Van Zee; her husband Warren Damkot; her children, Dennis Van Zee (Diane) of Rock Valley, Ruth Van Zee of Denver and David Van Zee of Hamilton, Michigan; her daughter-in-law Denise Van Zee of Clarksville, Tennessee; and her stepdaughter Susan Smith of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Rock Valley Christian School.Agnes.
