He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Harms and Alta Harms (Hollander); his sister Sharon Schmidt; his sisters-in-law, Arlys Nagel and Faith Kruse; his parents-in-law, Harry and Donna Kruse; and his niece-in-law Lori LaCour.
He is survived by: his wife Twila Harms (Kruse); his son Chris Harms (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Ashley, Emily and Natalie; his stepson Rob Johnson (Susanne); his stepgrandchildren, Sierra, Payton, Jaxsen and Jayda; his stepson Raymond Johnson (Laurel); his stepgrandchildren, Lucas, Ryland, Emersen, Shellie Jacobsma, David Jacobsma and Heidi Jacobsma; his siblings, Dennis Harms (LeAnn), Lorna Swanson (Ed), Keith Harms (Dorothy) and Calvin Harms (Joni); his parents-in-law, Idel Woodruff (Keith), Harlan "Butch" Kruse, Marge Lorenzen (Rich), Eldon Kruse (Deb) and Ken Nagel; and also, Elena, James, Scotty and Courtney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
