He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Groen and Clara Groen (Denekas). He is survived by: his wife Judy Grave; his children, Pecan Farm, Vicki Riemersma (Norm) of George, IA, Vonda Heronemus (Tennus) of Orange City, IA and Jerry Groen (Marcella) of Las Cruces, NM; and his brother Clifford Groen (Verla) of Little Rock, IA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be designated to various organizations in the community.
