He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl William Ellsworth and Alma Josephine Ellsworth (Aanenson); his brother-in-law Jerry Arp; his parents-in-law, Larry and Ruby Viland; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Viland and Jim Viland.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Ellsworth of Rock Rapids, IA; his children, Peggy Metzger (John) of Rock Rapids, IA and Jason Ellsworth (Tonya Muller) of Brandon, SD; his grandsons, Andrew Metzger (Tayler) of Omaha, NE, Ryan Metzger (Anna) of Des Moines, IA and Carter Ellsworth of Brookings, SD; and his sister Becky Arp of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (512 S Union St, Rock Rapids, IA 51246). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery.
