She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Nester and Lydia Nester (Knobloch); her stepmother Elizabeth Nester (Metzger); and her brother Eugene Nester. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Shirley Nester; her nieces, Marie Sauder (Paul) of Princeville, IL, Anita Fehr (Byron) of West Bend, IA, Charlotte Waldbeser (Phil) of Elgin, IA and Lori Miller (Seth) of Sabetha, KS; and her nephew Willis Nester (JoAnn) of Rock Rapids, IA.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Calendar Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall (510 Dove Ave, Lester, IA 51242). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Apostolic Christian Church (510 Dove Ave, Lester, IA 51242).
