He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia McKenney (Baatz) and Wayne McKenney; and his siblings, Vince McKenney (Gladys), Lawrence McKenney (Dorothy), Marilyn Trumbull (Bud), Leonard McKenney, Evelyn Homandberg (Glenn), Roy McKenney (Andy) and Ralph McKenney (Sandy).
He is survived by: his wife Viola McKenney of Brandon, SD; his children, Todd McKenney (Regina) of St. Joeseph, MO, Brenda Van Middendorp of Luverne, MN and Troy McKenney (Kim) of Belle Fourche, SD; his grandchildren, Heather, Robert, Melanie, Katie, Jessica, Daryl, Casey, Gloria, Nathaniel, Isaac, Andrew, Thaddaeus and Simon; his sister Irene Oaks (Don) of Billings, MT; and his sisters-in-law, Laura Lee McKenney of Belle Fourche, SD and Wanda Riebeling of Alvord, IA.. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
