He was predeceased by: his parents, Eppo Reemts and Katie Reemts (Dirks); his in-laws, Elmer and Marie Vik; his son-in-law Alan Broveak; his niece Erica Vik; and his pet Tiny.
He is survived by: his cousin Ron; his wife Karen; his stepdaughters, Jill Thompson (Mitch) and Mindy Johnson (Travis); his grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Eric Thompson and Macy Johnson; and his brothers-in-law, Neil Vik (Sacia) and Keith Vik (Angie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar First Reformed Church (512 S Union St, Rock Rapids, IA 51246). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Rock Rapids EMT Association and/or the First Reformed Church of Rock Rapids.
