He was predeceased by: his parents, Klass Ohling and Jennie Ohling (DeBoer); his siblings, Edward Herman Ohling, Gertrude Timmer (Art) and Johanna Korthals (Albert); his siblings-in-law, Corse and Fannie Wiekeraad; and his parents-in-law, Auko and Gertie Haan.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrix "Betty" Ohling; his daughters, Irene Gacke (Mike), Audrey Dobernecker (Dave) and Elaine Rydell (Dan); his great grandchildren, Amanda Sandbulte (Paul), Brian Gacke, Lisa Kruse (BJ), Jeremy Dobernecker (Jessica Rye), Heather Klarenbeek (Dylan), Cassy Rydell (Cory Moon) and Nick Rydell (Summer); and also, Michaella, Hunter, Kailee, Briley, Bryatt, Cayden, Leo, Miles, Violet, Dominic (Nevaeh Buskohl), Ayden (Trinity Johnson), Seth, Brekyn and Korbin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
