With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora Alvina Ranschau of Rock Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kitchenmaster and Emma Kitchenmaster (Lauck); her husband Carl Ranschau; her son-in-law David Herda; her siblings, Edna Kitchenmaster, Louis Kitchenmaster, Ella Weber, Florence Kitchenmaster and Norman Kitchmaster; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Kitchenmaster, Pete Stegenga and Harold Weber.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Ranschau (Chris) of Doon, IA and Brenda Richardson (Gary) of Alton, IA; her grandsons, Nicholas Herda (Leah), Andrew Herda (Jessica), Eric Ranschau, Cory Ranschau and Jason Ranschau; her sister Doris Stegenga of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Elsie Thielvoldt of Alvord, IA, Rose Grossenburg of Winner, SD and Elaine Luce (Jim) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Peace Lutheran Church of Rock Rapids.
