We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2023, at the age of 82, Marvin Peterson of Rock Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Peterson and Bernice Peterson (Brown); his wife Mary Hofstra; his parents-in-law, Dick and Fannie Hofstra (Dirks); his great grandchild Jessa Olivier; and his siblings, Inez Korthals, Audrey Timmerman, Alice Buss, Mary Anderson, Alvin Peterson and Lee Peterson.
He is survived by: his son Mark (Sonya); his granddaughters, Melissa Olivier (Gerod) of Brandon, SD and Martina Hyde (David) of Sioux Falls, SD; his great-childrens, Macyn, Kambrie, Lena Olivier, Kenydie, Sydnie, David Jr. and Charlotte Hyde; his sisters-in-law, Lillian Peterson of Pipestone, MN and Diane Peters of Little Rock, IA; and his nephews, David Peterson and Randy Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to The Rock Community Church of Rock Rapids.
