He was predeceased by: his parents, Shannon Long and Lois Long (Jones); his wife Margaret Long; his daughter Becky Long; his brother Denny Long (Shirley); and his sister-in-law Janice Bosler (Kenny).
He is survived by: his brother Rick Long (Pat) of Rock Rapids, IA; his daughter Rhonda Peskey (Jim); his close friend Karen LaMonds; and his siblings-in-law, Rollys Kahl (Kenny) of Sioux Falls, SD and Terry Matzen (Denise) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
