He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Haviland and Emma Haviland (Boll); his wife Mildred Dengler; and his brothers, Don, Howard and Robert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Haviland of Rock Rapids and Becky Jansen (Gregory) of Alton, IA; his grandchildren, Noah Jansen (Sybil), Laura Jansen, Isaiah Jansen (Ashley) and Micah Jansen (Katelyn); his great grandchildren, Adin, Abigail, Brantley, Connor and Marcy; and his sister Elaine Jenkins of Florida.
