He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoogeveen and Clara Hoogeveen (Bick); and his siblings, Jim Hoogeveen and Gwen Ditzel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Berg; his children, Karen Miller (Bill), Charles Hoogeveen (Maureen), Dallas Hoogeveen (Darci) and Kay Hoogeveen; his grandchildren, Morgan, Marcy, Karly, Nicholas Miller, Jack, Lona, Ella Hoogeveen, Klara and Kora Hoogeveen; his sister Muriel LeMonds; and his sisters-in-law, Marj Wells and Nancy Onerheim.
